Patience, Persistence, and Perseverance
I have been really attempting to making changes to almost all aspects of my life this year. I have realized that I need to heavily rely on the 3 P's....Patience, Persistence, and Perseverance.
My Etsy shop has taken off slowly and I wish that it was picking up steam quicker. I need to stay patient as people have lots of options on there, be persistent in continuing to add new items on a weekly basis, and be confident in my abilities and persevere through this slow start.
I'm also trying to loose some weight which is exhausting honestly. I have given up drinking Coke which is the love of my life, the reason I haven't killed anyone, and just taste sooo dang good. I've been drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day which is a major change for me since I'm not a big fan of water unless it is hot out (which it is not😒). I have also really decreased my carbs intact which happens to be my 2nd favorite. Everyday I wake up fresh with no mistakes in my diet, sometimes I do great all day and get in a workout. Other days....I eat like crap, don't workout, and then have to start all over again which frustrates me. One step forward, two steps back... I will remain to keep moving forward with this because this is for me.
I feel like I'm starting to get on track to be the me I was meant to be. I have been sorting, organizing, and tossing things and it is soooo exhilarating. The more I get the crap out of my life the more I feel free from things and connect better to where I want to be. I have been able to cut coupons, meal plan including trying new recipes and finish up house projects. I'm feeling good and ready to take on the world or at least my family!!
