So many hats so little time.....

Is the circus hiring?? I truly believe that being a mom is like trying to perfect the hardest balancing act ever. I feel like when I try to strive to be the best in any area (mom, wife, housekeeper, friend, etc..) I then fall short everywhere else. I honestly don't think that there is enough hours in the day to give every area my best. I am constantly trying to find the right balance of time to devote to each area.
What if we actually did everything that was daily recommended.....
8 glasses of water per day
30 minutes of daily exercise
30 minutes of reading to our children
brush twice a day
floss once per day
eating the right amounts per the food pyramid
etc......
Is it really realistic for us to some how manage everything??

I don't think there is ever enough time to do it all. But it's in all of us to strive to and feel guilty if we fall short. Part of the problem with the drinking water thing is that then I spend half my time going to and coming from the bathroom!
P.S. I gave up on the whistle thing. I'm going to have to find another solution. But we'll get it. I'm confident.

When you told me that you were going to comment about this, It got me thinking and I have no time to even do that somedays. I feel like I am racing the clock everyday all day. I'm racing to get to my jobs, I'm racing to get done in a timely manner and stressing that I'm taking too long, I'm stressing to get home on time so Jac isn't late for work blah.....Today marks good news. I am finished w/ a long distance job and bible study is finished. I am free on Tuesdays!!!!!
